The Power of Community:
A Year of Giving and Gratitude

At the heart of everything we do at COL is one simple truth: we couldn't do it without you. 2024 was a year filled with both challenges and triumphs, and it was your continued generosity—whether through time, donations, or support—that allowed us to keep moving forward.

Every food item donated, every hour volunteered, and every dollar contributed directly touched lives in Oxford County. Together, we’ve built something powerful: a network of caring, committed people determined to make a difference.

As we reflect on this past year, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible volunteers and donors who made it all possible.

Our Volunteers: The Heart of Cycles of Life

At Cycles of Life, volunteers are the beating heart of our mission. While volunteer recruitment is an ongoing process—with some joining and others moving on—we want to recognize and deeply thank those who have stood by us through the ups and downs. Your dedication, work ethic, and passion for helping others inspire everything we do.

In 2024, your contributions were nothing short of incredible:

  • Ingersoll

    • Community Table: 423 hours

    • Church: 1,030.25 hours

  • Tillsonburg

    • Community Table: 565 hours

    • Warehouse: 3,490 hours

  • Woodstock

    • Community Table: 1,403 hours

    • Warehouse: 230.75 hours (Sept–Oct only)

That’s thousands of hours of service, compassion, and commitment that directly impacted our neighbors in need.

Our outreach tables continued to be a vital lifeline:

  • Ingersoll: 2,444 visits

  • Tillsonburg: 4,817 visits (plus thousands more supported through the warehouse)

  • Woodstock: 21,796 visits

If you’re inspired by these numbers and the work being done, we invite you to join our amazing volunteer team. Applications are available at our tables or online

Our Donors: Champions of Change

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our donors—individuals, organizations, businesses, and partners—who stood with us this year. Oxford County is fortunate to have such a giving community.

We are endlessly grateful. Whether you're growing vegetables in your backyard, offering warehouse space, or donating through your business—you are part of the Cycles of Life family.

Thank you for helping us feed, clothe, and care for our community. Together, we are making a difference—one life at a time.

Land and Cultural Acknowledgement:

We acknowledge that the land on which we operate is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Attawandaron (Neutral), and Wendat peoples. We recognize the enduring presence of Indigenous peoples on this land and offer our respect to their Elders, past, present, and future. We understand there is a disproportionate number of people with Indigenous ancestry in need of the support that organizations like Cycles of Life offer as a result of ongoing systemic oppression and colonization.
